proud to be a caps fan…

yes, i am proud to be a caps fan.
despite the heartbreak and frustration, despite the inability to win a game in a shootout, despite the fact that the team isn’t in the playoffs, i really do love the capitals.
and this blog is about that love, win or lose.

i’m no hockey expert – i can’t rattle off player statistics, or heatedly debate the pros and cons of player trades.
but what i am is a person who loves hockey, in no small part due to the capitals. because of the many caps games i’ve attended over the past two seasons, i’ve come to learn more about the game and its players, and talk more about the game and its players, and write more about the game and its players. it got to the point where i felt like i needed to start a hockey-specific blog since all my hockey-related musings were threatening to take over my regular blog.
